As the year of 2018 was nearing its end, we’ve been seeing an increasing number of trend reports issued by various players in the design industry. As one of the leading design studios in Israel, we wanted to join in on the fun! But we also wanted to address this trend of “Trend Reports” with a critical eye.

What if we could take some of those buzzwords that keep showing up on trend reports, and offer a different take on them?
This would be a fun way to showcase our strength as a multidisciplinary studio: shipping out a product that shares some of the studio’s recent projects while involving creative design thinking, meaningful content and enticing visuals powered by our “can-do” approach.

The challenge

We had about 10 days to have our finished product up and running!

It was important to us to create a fully functional interactive product, both because it’s an interesting challenge to us and because it’s a better experience to share. Who’s got the time nowadays to read a 12 page PDF?

UX concept - Flipping Cards

We decided to take our concept quite literally: flipping a buzzword to reveal what’s on the other side. This would be a fun functionality for the main page, but the real surprise comes when each card leads you to a page full of content elaborating on that idea while showing relevant examples from our studio work.

We were also aware that despite our best efforts, some people just won’t bother reading, so we’ve added a “Take Away” section on the bottom of each inner page to offer something for all audiences.
